Company History 2
In January of 1986, Bruce Albea formed Bruce Albea Contracting, Inc.
The company's focus was small Department of Transportation projects and site
development. The first two contracts executed were with the Simpson Bridge
Company of Tennessee and Dan Forsyth Realty of Georgia. These two
companies have remained active customers throughout the years.
In 1987, Sam B. Albea, Bruce's son, joined the firm. Today he is
gaining experience as a Project Superintendent and Vice President of the
corporation. Sam has three sons, who show keen interest in heavy
equipment, so we expect the involvement to continue through the fifth
generation.
Today, Bruce Albea Contracting, Inc. has over 40 employees and has just
celebrated the 22nd anniversary of its founding. We pursue highway
contracts and site development contracts ranging in size from a few thousand
dollars to several million dollars.
Our emphasis remains primarily in grading, but we also do storm drainage,
base and erosion control. Our goal is total customer satisfaction through
quality work performed in a timely manner. We are proud of the reputation
that we have developed and the spirit of cooperation we have achieved with our
customers.
We look forward to working with you and appreciate any opportunities to quote
on your project needs.
